Charity partnerships are integral to the work of theMovement, ensuring the holistic care of each woman we provide exercise opportunities to. All of our exercise sessions are delivered through charity partners. Here are some of the brilliant charities we work with...
CAPE
CAPE is a mental health charity based in West London. They provide day service opportunities and a flexible outreach service for individuals who experience severe and enduring mental health problems.

theMovement currently partners with CAPE to provide a small group exercise class for some of the women they support.
A Mile in Her Shoes
A Mile in Her Shoes encourage women who are at risk of homelessness or affected by related issues to try running as a way of exercising, socialising, lifting confidence and boosting self-esteem. They create, lead and support running fitness groups, alongside appropriate clothing and footwear.

theMovement currently partners with A Mile in Her Shoes to lead one of their fitness groups.
PAUSE
Pause works with women who have experienced, or are at risk of, repeated pregnancies that result in children needing to be removed from their care. Through our intense, relationship-based programme, PAUSE aims to give women the chance to pause and take control of their lives.

AVA
AVA are a leading UK charity committed to ending gender based violence and abuse. They strive to improve services for survivors through our learning, resources, consultancy and end Violence Against Women and Girls through policy, research and prevention work.

theMovement are currently partnered with AVA, providing trauma informed exercise videos for their app Breathing Space.
ID Essence
ID Essence work with young women aged 18-25 in prison and after prison. They exist to provide as many young women as possible with the skills, self-belief and support they need to make positive changes and live life free from prison.

theMovement are currently partnered with ID Essence, providing online 1to1 Personal Training to some of the women they support.
Single Homeless Project
Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity providing support and accommodation, as well as promoting wellbeing and enhancing opportunity, for homeless people in London.

theMovement are currently partnered with SHP, providing a weekly yoga session for some of the women they support.
Southwark & Lewisham Women's Space
The Southwark and Lewisham Women’s Hubs offer safe, welcoming, one-stop-shop support for those affected by the criminal justice system, and for women seeking support, information, and community.

theMovement are currently partnered with Southwark & Lewisham Women's Space providing a weekly exercise sessions at one of their drop ins.
Women's Wellness Zone
The Women's Wellness Zone is a free and confidential health and wellbeing service for women aged 18 or over with multiple, complex needs. They work with women who are currently experiencing problems in three or more of the following areas: mental health, substance misuse, prostitution or trafficking, domestic abuse and offending behaviour.

theMovement currently partners with Women's Wellness Zone to provide weekly 1to1 and small group Personal Training sessions with some of the women they are supporting.
Luminary Bakery
Luminary is a social enterprise designed to offer opportunities for women who have had a social and economic disadvantage to build a future for themselves. They provide a safe and professional environment using baking as a tool to take women on a journey to employability and entrepreneurship, equipping them with transferrable skills for the working world.

Ella's
Ella’s is a London-based organisation working with women who have survived trafficking and sexual exploitation. They offer safe house accommodation,care and long-term community-based support to help survivors build safe,
independent lives.

theMovement are currently providing exercise opportunities in two of Ella's safe houses for some of the women that they support.
Faith House
Faith House is a unique and specialised ministry with the Salvation Army, that works with individuals who are active in or have exited the sex industry and those affected by Modern Day Slavery. They provide weekly activities, access to sexual health clinics and evening outreach.

theMovement are currently running two online exercise classes for some of the women who Faith House support.
Solace Women's Aid
SOLACE is a leading specialist charity in the UK supporting women and children experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence. Whatever form violence comes in, from rape to trafficking to relationships based on psychological or financial control, they work to end it. Solace provides the lifesaving support to more than 30,000 women, children and young people each year.

theMovement currently partners with Solace to provide weekly small group Personal Training sessions with some of the women they are supporting.
Orchards
At Orchards are a Christian charity working specifically with women who have been involved in prostitution and those who have been trafficked for sexual purposes. They come alongside women as they overcome multiple barriers in their journey from exit through to independent living.

Room to Heal
Room to Heal uses the power of community to support people who have experienced torture and organised violence to rebuild their lives in exile. They have cultivated a healing community through which people can overcome the legacy of trauma; alongside an integrated programme of therapeutic and casework assistance.

The Connection at St Martin's
The Connection at St Martin’s work with people who are rough sleeping to move away from, and stay off, the streets of London. They are alongside people as they recover from life on the streets and move towards a meaningful, fulfilling future away from homelessness and into shelter.

Their Voice
Their Voice is a UK based charity empowering survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery by providing practical and emotional support.

theMovement currently partners with Their Voice to provide one off exercise workshops to some of the women they support.
Surviving Economic Abuse
Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the a UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it. They work in partnership with the frontline organisations that directly support victim-survivors and support them to identify and respond to economic abuse.
